Sounds of Khemit's latest various artists EP features three superb new takes that take inspiration fromAmun, a primordial supreme Master in ancient Khemit. The release also co-incides with the label’sshowcase event at this year’s ADE in Amsterdam.Amun rose to prominence during the New Kingdom when his name was associated with Ra the light. As Amun-Rahe reigned for years and brought illumination, abundance and order to the land of Khemit. His name Amoon, as thehieroglyphs depict, means the exalted one, the one that is placed at a high or powerful level.Says the label, "In Sounds of Khemit we learn from Amun as a strong example as a just king. He brought order tothe land, he was a fair judge, a powerful visionary ruler, a man that fights for the poor and weak. We are inspired byhis visionary rule which gives us the strength to move forward in our fight, our mission to bring light from darkness."

The inspiration for this collection is explained by the label who say, "The Great Ennead is a group of nine Masters that are responsible for running and administering the bigger plan of creation. They are considered a high council or hierarchy that takes orders from the one Creator and execute it accordingly. Every one of the Great Ennead holds specific characteristics and excels in it to perfection. The Masters of the great Ennead occasionally get reincarnated in different periods of time and to different nations worldwide. Wulsa was a mighty queen during the reign of Osiris, her husband. She is themaster associated with the healing energy of the full moon. Wulsa was the ultimate wife and mother icon, wellknown for her love, devotion and support to her husband Osiris. In later times, Wulsa's teachings went beyondKhemit. She became a highly revered Master in Alexandria and all across the greek and roman empire where shehad several temples and devotees.
